Welcome to our website. I use to race at Southeastern Dragway in Dallas, Ga. Not sure if you have ever heard of that one. There are several members on here that has raced at Silver Dollar and Reynolds too. _________________ 2002BlackBeauty

Yes, it was pretty rough. Matter of fact it was sold in 2005 and closed down then. They were suppose to be building a Kroger or something and nothing has ever shown up. It's a shame, I felt is was good for the teenage kids who wanted to race each other but now I guess they probably street race because of no where else close.
John, I think it's a great idea to make that an event for 2010. _________________ 2002BlackBeauty

My wife loves to drag race her 98 and I have taken my 93 down the quarter at Silver Dollar and Commerce in the past. Jennifer would be all about a drag racing day though!! _________________

christa and i were members of the 1on1-motorsports timing crew in germany. she was responsible for the time slips and i was the starter for 5 years.... the only thing i really miss since we are here... ... standing between hundreds and thousands of hp... and being def at night.
http://1on1-motorsports.de/
we usually were making the test runs for calibrating the track and sometimes we had the chance to race with our absolutely stock germany street legal 95formula (see below): 14,0 @ 161km/h was the best i made... but at a bracket race the best driver wins, not the fastest car.
and we are still in contact with some famous german drag racer
hope the season here starts soon...
best regardle

I used to run my 69 camaro on fri. night test and tune at Silver Dollar on a regular basis. Best 1\4 mile time was 12.15 @ 115 mph on street tires. The car was complete in every way and not stripped for racing. It was also my daily driver as anyone in the club could tell you. Damn I miss that car!!! _________________ Don Jensen
